They are island residents, and united in their passion for&nbsp;Cumbrae&nbsp;as a place to pursue their artistic practice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded by Janice Hunter and Tim Saville, who studied at the Glasgow School of Art and Camberwell School of Art, London respectively, the Gallery looks to promote the work of emerging and established artists, particularly those who challenge our preconceptions of contemporary art, helping to foster an understanding of the necessity of art in the present day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new gallery has opened on the
